Thank you so much to everyone that helped out Holidays 2025 and our Valentines Cards for Vets 2026. A huge shout out to our students at Upper Merion Middle and High School who made such creative cards, messages and even donated a bag of chocolate to our veterans for Valentine’s Day! Having such a huge community of support means so much, not only to our veterans but to Wishes for Our Warriors as well. The old saying is true one person’s idea really does take endless people and their altruism to be successful. Without everyone supporting and donating the needed items for our homeless and veterans we would not be able to reach out to those who really need our help, time, and support.
We would also like to provide another thank you shout out to our friends at Boscov’s Department Stores in Reading and Plymouth Meeting, PA. Their continuing support is extremely appreciated. They provided so many essential clothes, hats and gloves for our homeless collections and have been an ongoing, appreciated channel of support for a number of years. Wishes for Our Warriors are so deeply grateful for everyone’s ongoing support. We cannot thank you enough. Watching the reactions of the people at the shelter when they asked if the boxes I was delivering were for them was so rewarding and heartfelt. My words can not express how grateful I am to all our supporters and contributors.
Without all your support, it would be much more difficult for Wishes for Our Warriors to provide essentials for our unhoused residents of Montgomery and Chester Counties. Attached to our website are a number of essential contacts for our residents to reach out to and obtain the help they need.
Our next collection for our veterans and homeless residents will be in April and due in June for Summer 26 before schools close. Any help will be awesome and much appreciated.
